On Monday, April 8, we will be dismissing all schools on a half-day schedule. Students will be dismissed according to our three hour early dismissal schedule. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of our students during the solar eclipse, and provide our families the opportunity to experience this historical event together. To ensure the safety and enhance the educational value of this event, PDE has developed a comprehensive resource guide for K-12 schools. This guide includes information on eye safety, viewing methods, educational activities, and more.
Please note that staff will remain at their respective buildings for professional development and planning in the afternoon.
